On January 21st 2010, 3 years later the THAI breed appearance in the PNB class, the TICA President announced that the Board of Directors has advanced the Old-Style Siamese in its own breed under the name "THAI" to the CHAMPIONSHIP status.

PHAITHAI VANITY FAIR

Born in July 2009 from LasJoyasThai Rasamee Dara and Sandypoints Chakri, Vanity is the Phaithai cattery's precious jewel.
With her chatting temper, turquoise eyes and well balanced body type, Vanity represents the characteristics of the old style Siamese at its best.

Breeding means maintaining and possibly improve
the characteristics of the breed with a precise selection.
Breeding means having very clear goals and pursue them consistently.
Breeding means knowing the genetics of breed, the standard, the history, the state of health.
Breeding means respecting our cats, follow them in
all stages of their lives and contact skilled veterinarians
to assist them when needed.
Breeding means taking fair decisions and make
sacrifices when necessary.
Breeding means selecting adoptive families carefully
and provide a stable point of reference to people who
have chose a kitten.
Breeding means dealing with colleagues of the same breed, exchange tips and collaborate in common
interest.
Breeding means not having a "factory" of kittens.
